Introduction
The System Support Group (SSG) can assist you in finding the correct web services for your needs. Please see the categories below, if you don't find one that meets your needs, please see the Consultation section.
Canvas
UC Davis Canvas is a campus wide learning management system (LMS). Instructors use it to present class materials, assign and view homework, assess submissions, provide grades, and communicate with their students. Students use it to manage their course requirements, find course materials, submit homework, assess their course progress, and communicate with instructors and classmates, and more.
Faculty can use it to supplement in-person lectures, or to manage blended/hybrid or fully online courses. Like many modern services, it is hosted in the cloud, and works comfortably on mobile devices.

Public_html simple static web page service
The SSG provides a simple html web page service, should the COE web services not be sufficient.
This service is usually accessed via SSH (scp available to transfer files), and is served by the same web-server as our own web.cs.ucdavis.edu/~account and some other CS research lab pages. Familiarity with SSH and html coding is needed.
This service is available to CS Faculty only. Please write support@cs.ucdavis.edu with the subject line: Request for web.cs.ucdavis.edu / Public_html web page access
Consultation
For all other web page requests, please request a Web Page Consultation by writing: support@cs.ucdavis.edu -- let us know what URLs you are considering, and any details you might have on what you expect your web page to provide.
